✨ The Heart and Hands Behind XeyMay ✨

 

  I’m a mom of two boys, a wife, a full-time homemaker, and the proud founder of XeyMay—running my cozy little shop right from home. As a kid, I was obsessed with Sanrio stationery (Pochacco forever! 🐶✨). I was that student who couldn’t stop drawing, crafting, and doodling through elementary and middle school. One art class was all it took for me to fall head-over-heels for creating. But when high school came around, I stopped drawing after being told art wasn’t a “real” career. So I drifted into the medical field like many people around me—working, going back to school, and taking health-related classes. They were okay…but they never felt like me.

  Eventually, I started craving something fun, creative, and true to my heart. Before moving from a paradise state to a new one, sketching and doodling quietly re-entered my life—and suddenly, I got a spark of an idea: what if my career felt more like a passion than just a job? Interior design seemed perfect. I could sketch, imagine real spaces, and bring ideas to life. During COVID, I watched YouTubers turn their passions into businesses and thought, “Maybe I can do that too!” But just as things were getting underway, life whisked my family off to Italy. With my degree and small hobby shop on hold and no internship in sight, I focused on being a stay-at-home mom and wife while working on myself—learning time management, trying new things, drawing, designing, and figuring out who I wanted to become when we moved back to the States.

  And then—boom—it clicked. Back in the U.S., I decided to fully pursue what I love: creating and sharing my art with the world. Making cute characters sparked a passion I didn’t even realize I’d lost. Now, art is my stress relief, my happy escape, and a big source of joy in my daily life. Inspired by small stationery YouTubers, I finally felt brave enough to launch XeyMay and start this new adventure. I’m growing, learning, and having so much fun—and who knows? Maybe one day, my little creative journey will inspire someone else to find their spark too. 💕✨
